Message from GGML Managing Director

To the climbers and cyclists who take on the challenge around Mount Kilimanjaro, your journey represents more than endurance. It represents commitment to sustaining Tanzania’s progress in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Kili Trust stands on the front lines of this effort, bringing together private sector partners and individuals to mobilize internal resources that strengthen the national HIV response. Through the Kili Challenge, every step climbed and every kilometer cycled contributes to sustainable financing that supports communities working toward the Three Zeros.

Mount Kilimanjaro does not give its summit easily. It demands resilience and determination. In the same way, sustaining the HIV response requires collective action and long term commitment.

The Kili Challenge is therefore more than an adventure. It is a mission to sustain progress and ensure the fight against HIV continues for generations to come.

UKIMWI bado upo. And the responsibility to respond belongs to all of us.

The GGML Kilimanjaro Challenge Against HIV & AIDS is more than a climb or a ride. It is a national movement bringing people together to sustain Tanzania’s HIV response.

For over two decades, this initiative has mobilized resources, supported communities, and strengthened efforts that save lives across the country. Today, the need continues.

Through the Kili Challenge, individuals and organizations take on the journey to the summit or around the mountain not just for the experience, but to contribute to a cause that affects us all.

This platform exists to help you understand the impact, the need, and the role you can play.

Ni jukumu letu sote. You can be part of the response.

Climb. Ride. Support. Donate.
